Dunnellon 10/11 2016 All Stars

Sometimes in baseball and in life things go the way you want them to go, and many times they do not. The important thing is that when they do not we must get back up, dust ourselves off, learn from our failures, and try, try again.

For all of my 10/11 All Stars, coaching you has been an incredible blessing to me. What a great group of boys with big hearts and big dreams! Don't give up on those dreams now. Let's use this loss as motivation to get better, and come back next year with something to prove.

Great team win tonight, Tigers! I'm so proud of all our boys. Great pitching, great defense, and timely hitting results in a team win! Let's enjoy the "W" tonight and then go out and take care of business on Thursday!

Hey Jennifer Harding here 😊 Since Allstars is such a special team to be a part of ,the kids usually get a gift of some sort to remember representing their town and league. The quality of the gift depends on the funds we raise in fundraisers. One year my son Luke was given a under armor bat bag that was personalized with his name on it. He still treasures it. I would love to be able to do something like that for each boy but we will have to see how much money we can raise. Tammy has given me a donation letter that we can use if any of your employers would like to give a tax deductible donation to your sons team. Besides that I will try and coordinate a fundraiser for each level we win. The first one will be tomorrow evening. If we don't make it past district it will be our only one. Tim will be having practice at 6:30 tomorrow -I'm planning on being at bubbaques at 5:30- I'm hoping to have two other locations as well - if you can come at 5:30 that would be great or if you want to just help out during practice - anything is great! All players, parents and siblings are welcome to help- the more the better!

For our 10/11 All Stars, like Inky Johnson says, let's focus on the process of getting better every day. Put in the work, work on your process, and the results will take care of themselves.

So I'm working on a team party, instead of asking for 20$ a kid towards a trophy and party I'm asking every parent to get something thoughtful for the coaches and I'm taking care of the kids 😊 . Also I was going to have the party on a regular night we would normally have a baseball game. What nights work for you this week? I want to make sure everyone can be there. - Jennifer Harding

I'm so proud of our Gator boys! They finished the season on a 2 game winning streak, after a strong performance today against our great competitors, the Tomcats. We enjoyed battling back and forth all season with this great group of coaches and kids. Sully hit a monster home run today - great job! The boys played spectacular defense, and the whole lineup was hitting the baseball. Davyon and Bradley hit the ball especially well.

We had one player on the team who hadn't yet won a game ball all year, and he really wanted one. So today Jonathan definitely earned his game ball after pitching a solid 5 1/3 innings, giving up only one run. Great job! Go Gators!

So proud of our Gator boys tonight! They played an all around great game, winning 16-3 in 4 innings. Jeremy pitched a complete game, striking out 8 batters. All of the boys hit the ball well, and both Wyatt and Sully homered for the Gators! Way to go boys! Let's finish this season strong on Saturday. Go Gators!

We are playing at 6:30 tonight at Central Citrus!!!
