Man, what an amazing event! The team worked hard for months behind the scenes on this. The people in this group were pretty much strangers to me. But now, we are a solid unit of friends. Did this event go exactly like we hoped? In a word…no. We as a group learned exactly where the holes in our game were. I was to head up the media team and I didn’t even get enough to fill an SD card a 1/4 of the way. What is happening right now is an amazing group of media creatives are producing some of the best content I have ever seen coming out of the Florida drift community. Go connect with these folks now! I can’t thank you all enough for being professional, and safe while at the event. Seriously, from the very bottom of my heart, thank you all. As for me, Bob Seger said it best, There I go… Turn the page. Time to move on to the next project. Thank you to all our vendors. Bought this ownboard today for $100 and I’ve only eaten pavement once. Somehow not even bleeding 😂. 2am ripping around St. Augustine. Perfect place to use this thing. Different textures of bricks, pavement, concrete, etc to ride on and figure out how to react to it. Absolutely in love with this thing and can’t wait to check out some other cities.

The Indy 800 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway was a huge success. Brian Deegan took home a well earned win once more. Seeing the drivers adapt to a different track meant having to work around heavier tire wear and gearing limitations on the longer straightaways. Seriously incredible weekend, and I'm glad I was able to make it up to Indy for such a killer race. Bristol is going to be nuts!

Here's an album of 480 photos from The Freedom Factory National Compact Touring Series Winter Warm-up back in February, just after Sick Week. It was fun seeing some faster cars ripping around the FF, and the buses were actually pretty intimidating when you see them at ground level. These guys put on an incredible show and are scheduled to be back next year!
