Lake Kiowa Par 3

Congratulations to Sheryl Baus on her Hole In One on hole #4 on the Par 3 course! Luckily, she was enrolled in the hole-in-one pot, so she went home with some big bucks (over $1000)! This is the second hole-in-one since the course opened last fall.

The prize pot for this month is $283.71. If nobody wins this month, the pot rolls over to July and will be over $500.

New to the Par 3! Informal scramble playdays on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. MEN will play WEDNESDAY mornings AT 9:30am (bring $5). WOMEN will play THURSDAY mornings at 8:30am. No need to sign up - just show up. Teams will be drawn and play starting shortly after. (You do not need to be a member of MGA, WGA or the Par 3 Assoc).) Lots of fun and a great way to hang out with friends and neighbors. See you at the Par 3!

Hole in One Guidelines:

- 50% of the Hole-in-One funds will be distributed to the Hole-in-One winners!
- 50% of the funds will go towards maintenance and improvements of your new course.
- MONTHLY payout! If no Hole-in-Ones, the payout rolls over to the next month – potential to grow throughout the year!
- The player must be registered on the Chelsea Tee Sheet before playing, play least 9 holes on the Par 3 golf course, play with at least 1 other players, and the scorekeeper and a playing witness must sign the scorecards.

We had 100 golfers participate in our inaugural tournament on April 25th, playing a two-person scramble format. Divisions played included Men’s, Women’s and Coed, with players of all ages! It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, lost balls, competition and friendship. If you weren’t there, you missed out on the brisket
tacos (thank you, Jeremy!) and hotdogs, paired with an abundance of drinks to finish the round. Cash prizes were given for Closest to Pin awards and flight winners! Kiowa members and guests were all welcome to play. Thanks for a fun, successful day!
