Take a Bite Out of Cancer 2026 Sponsor Spotlight: Gulf Gear

Gulf Gear has already made a huge impact on this year’s event by building the custom rods for our 10 to 16 youth division. That alone is a major contribution, and it gives our young anglers something to be proud of when they hit the sand this summer.

But they didn’t stop there. Gulf Gear is stepping up in another big way by building a custom shark rod on an Ozmosis blank to add to the raffle table. This is a serious piece of gear, crafted by people who know exactly what Gulf Coast anglers need when they’re targeting big fish. Took the Muller Family out for a shark fishing evening. The night started off with a lot of seaweed on cast outs , but we managed to pull through and get a spinner shark, a blacktip, and a nice bull shark. Breaking 3 of the family's PBs in one day. Was a great time with a great family.
