NCRT offers not only civilian fi****ms training, but Ohio Law Enforcement Officers can qualify in duty pistol, shotgun, patrol carbine and scoped Precision Rifle to fulfill the annual OPOTA standards. We meet and exceed the state standard and can provide individual Ohio Peace Officers documented record of their qualification. On top of this our staff of OPOTA and NRA instructors, military, state and federal law enforcement veterans offer a training environment that cannot only make you a better shooter, but more survivable in a deadly force encounter.

This is an older post, but it's worth sharing again. Push for perfection in your fundamentals. Spend time working basic skill drills, and train often to keep your skills sharp!

This is one of several hundred pics from the July range day. Most people love the action shots, the mid air brass, sliding into a cover position.. some sort of cool guy s**t. But I love the picture of this target. This is 1 of 2 cardboard targets in a mixed steel/cardboard drill called 9 ball. This is a timed 9 shot string of fire across 3 targets, from the holster and our member times are anywhere from 4 through 12 seconds. They all shoot the same pieces of cardboard. This is a grouping of 26 different shooters running a drill against the clock.. 26 individuals of varying levels of experience. Military, law enforcement, civilians, competitors and people brand new to shooting...

My point is this speaks to our shooters and our focus as a training group. Accuracy. Being accountable for every shot. Pushing for perfection in your fundamentals... This picture right here makes me proud of where this group is at and where is headed. Great job shooters!
