We know it’s been a quiet summer on the field… and that’s not because we lost our balls. 😉 Truth is, we went straight from jacket weather to heat stroke without much of a spring in between 🌡️—and between that and work commitments, we haven’t had many chances to play.
But don’t worry—we’re not done yet! We’re planning to kick things off again this fall, once the weather cools down and we’re not melting like plastic wiffle bats left in the sun. 🍂
Also—real talk—we love how many people want to be a part of the league, but having 30+ folks show up to our house every time we play isn’t sustainable (or neighbor-friendly). So we’re working on a new plan to better organize teams and games going forward.
We truly appreciate your patience and support while we figure it all out. Miller Wiffle isn’t going anywhere—we're just evolving. Stay tuned and stay cool. 🌀

Bri Cameraslinger took this shot of the 5th best athlete in Miller doing Derek Dudzik things. Cool AF!
I am mighty proud of our baby Flamingos. Derek Dudzik, Ben Front, Ryan Jackson, Jose Torres and myself. We drew a rough set of games, against some teams that were literally generational - like spanning 20+ years of playing wiffle ball. I would guess that the champions will come out of our division. We didn’t get to play children or any of the first time teams. We lost, but we learned. We’ll be back next year and win a couple. Thanks for all the support!!! BTW, it’s a fabulous tournament benefiting the South Suburban Humane Society!
