rs the fundamentals of gun operation, personal protection with the use of a handgun, gun safety, ammunition, and shooting techniques. It includes the legislative changes that went into effect in 2011, 2013, and the latest revisions in 2015. You will learn additional information about your 2nd Amendment rights and how to protect them. This class also provides a written exam and the shooting qualification exam given at our PRIVATE firing range for shooting distances 3 yards, 5 yards, & 7 yards. We also teach an added curriculum of what to do after a shooting.



- WHAT IS THE CLASS TIME & What to Expect:

● 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

* Please ARRIVE at least 15 minutes before the class begins. Our class will begin promptly at the designated time.
* Lunch: We break for lunch, and you can eat at any close by restaurant you choose or use food delivery service.
* Our class ending time is around the time indicated on the class schedule, but ending time may vary.
*Covid19 precautions will be in order including temperature checks upon entry


- You can live ANYWHERE IN NC and take our class! Anyone who lives in NC can take our class and you will file for your Concealed Handgun Permit in the city you are registered in.


- WHAT IS AGE REQUIREMENTS? You must be 21 years old in order to file for the Concealed Handgun Permit.


- DO YOU HAVE TO OWN A HANDGUN TO GET YOUR PERMIT? NO, but you must legally be able to own a handgun. We are happy to offer you assistance with your handgun purchase. We offer a rental handgun for the Concealed Handgun Class for $30.


- WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING FOR THE SHOOTING QUALIFICATION EXAM?
◇ 1. Handgun (no derringers or single action revolvers) - cleaned and oiled prior to the class.
◇ 2. Holster (Outer Waist Band)
◇ 3. 50 rds of boxed FMJ Ammunition (no reloads or steel core)
◇ 4. Eye Protection (safety glasses or prescription glasses)
◇ 5. Ear Protection (ear plugs or ear muffs)
◇ 6. Your Photo ID

* MAGAZINES: If you have additional magazines, please bring them to the range. This will decrease your reloading time at the range. Do not bring live ammo or magazines to class.


- We offer Private Classes for groups of 10 and larger.
-Will travel to your city for groups of 15 or more granted we have access to do the shooting qualifications.


- CAN WE HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS OR CIRCUMSTANCES? YES, Please let our instructor know in advance, so we can discreetly assist you during class and while on the range. We strive to provide a learning platform for everyone.


- WHERE IS THE SHOOTING QUALIFICATION EXAM GIVEN? We will give you the address and directions to the range during class. Please dress according to current weather conditions for the outdoor range.
- Wear long pants (no shorts).
- Wear comfortable closed toe shoes (No Flip-Flops, No High Heels)
- Wear a shirt with a high neckline, to avoid expelled hot cartridges from going into the shirt.


- WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER? Our customers' comfort and safety is our first priority. Our class is given rain or shine unless we are hosting an outdoor class, provided it is safe to travel. At that time, we will complete the class requirements. If we are unable to complete the shooting qualification exam due to inclement weather, at our partner range, we will reschedule the range time for you at no additional charge. However, if there is very bad weather (such as ice or snow) which prevents safe travel, we may have to reschedule the class and the shooting exam to another date. Our customers' safety is our first priority. If this occurs we will notify you that the class has been postponed and that we must reschedule the class to another date. The new date and time will be determined by our instructor. Once the weather permits safe travel, we will notify you when the new class date will be. If you are unable to attend the class as rescheduled, please let us know so we can work with you to find a date suitable for your schedule.
