I just wanted to take a minute to say how incredibly thankful I am for the amount of support, new faces, and growth we’ve had lately at Harris Performance Horses. ❤️
Getting the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, help horses and riders grow, and watch partnerships come together has truly meant more to me than I can put into words. I never take your trust in me lightly, and I’m so grateful for every single lesson, training horse, recommendation, and kind word shared along the way.
If I’ve worked with you or your horse and you’ve enjoyed your experience, I would be so appreciative if you’d take a moment to leave a review. Reviews help our small business continue to grow and help others feel confident choosing us for their horses as well.

‼️‼️ NEW POLICY ‼️‼️
In the past we have not had a cancellation policy as I try to be as flexible as possible, and as a one woman show, occasionally things happen on my end as well.
Due to our busy schedule and the growth of our program, we will be introducing a new cancellation policy.
If you must cancel, we will need a 48 hour notice in order to try to fill your appointment time. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to payment for the scheduled lesson/training ride.
No-call/no-shows will be required to pay in full before booking future appointments.
I completely understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen, and I will always do my best to work with clients when possible. This policy is simply to help protect my time and keep scheduling fair for everyone.
Thank you all so much for your continued support, understanding, and for helping our program continue to grow.

Life at HPH lately!
01/02/2026
As many of you know—and for those who are new here—here’s a little backstory on HPH 🤍
We’ve been in operation since 2016, but we didn’t officially open to the public until 2023. Before that, I took on select horses for training and taught lessons only to people I knew. Friends’ horses, my own horses that I bought and trained, and a small, familiar circle. At the time, I didn’t feel ready to take on the big wide world, so I stayed in my little one—and that was exactly what I needed then.
In 2023, we opened to the public and ran a fun, educational boutique lesson program into 2024. And then… chaos ensued.
Two of our three wonderful lesson horses were injured in freak accidents—at two different farms, in two completely unrelated incidents—within two weeks of each other. That effectively ended regularly scheduled lessons, and the program came to a halt. I made the decision to retire our third lesson horse, because it simply wasn’t fair for her to carry the entire program on her own.
Over the past year and a half, we’ve continued teaching exclusively on owner-owned horses, both haul-in and off-site. During that time, I’ve also focused heavily on furthering my own education—taking lessons from other instructors, observing, learning, and growing so I can be a better trainer and a better instructor.
In 2026, we are reopening our lesson program—slowly and thoughtfully.
This time, it will be built with intention and sustainability in mind.
What’s coming:
• Tiered riding levels as you progress
• Fun game nights
• Camps
• Ladies’ nights
• Tiny tot lessons
• Show opportunities
To our HPH customers: thank you for giving us the space and grace to rebuild, and for trusting us as we create something even better than before. Thank you for sticking with us 🤍
We will begin accepting Tiny Tot lessons ONLY starting January 15th, with more information coming soon.
As always, we will continue to offer haul-in and off-site lessons on your own horse.

✨ Nova – 1.5-year-old Dutch Warmblood Cross Gelding ✨
Approximately 14hh
Location: Gastonia, NC (moving to Clover, SC soon)
Nova is a smart, athletic young gelding with a big personality and all the basics in place. He leads, loads, ties, bathes, stands to be saddled, lunges, and picks up all four feet. He’s a beautiful mover with the potential to take the right rider into the upper levels with time and proper development.
That said—Nova is not for everyone.
Nova is quirky and can be reactive in certain situations, so he requires an experienced, confident handler who is patient, consistent, and fair. He does not thrive with cookie-bribing or heavy-handed cowboy methods. If you’re looking to spoil a youngster rotten or dominate one into submission, he’s not your guy. He needs someone who will guide him kindly, confidently, and with good judgment—firm when necessary, gentle always.
For the right person, Nova is an incredibly rewarding project with serious potential. He will only be placed in an approved home, with priority given to a show or competition home. Additional quirks and details will be shared privately to serious inquiries.
• PPE welcome at buyer’s expense
• Ask your trainer, husband, or bank before messaging
• Must be 18+ to purchase
PM for more information.
