I love the feedback that the Pro-Velocity bat gives my hitters. If they are getting long & around it immediately is noticeable to the hitter because it feels impossibly heavy & pulls them out of posture when they are not firing properly.

Some keys to success on hitting this outside pitch:

• Maintaing posture & hip hinge over the plate
• Hands working inside the ball
• Extension through contact instead of spinning around & cutting the ball at contact

• To avoid collapsing, we aimed to add stabilization by widening out our knees & sitting more 50/50 weight distribution before our forward move.

• We also eliminated the wide open stance to help achieve that 50/50 distribution & a more consistent first move

• Promotes barrel depth in front of the plate by staying taller in the backside. Yes, the torso/core works under your top half, but no, it does not collapse down in rear leg.

Avery has made outstanding progress in 8-weeks of training at 704 Sports Academy. She came to the facility primarily as a slapper & has worked extremely hard on becoming a dual threat that can slap & hit away.
