British Brooks named to 2022 Doak Walker Award watch list UNC football running back British Brooks has been named to the Doak Walker Award watch list ahead of the 2022 season.

We are bringing more attention to the valedictorian and salutatorian for Ashbrook High School. Join us in congratulating valedictorian Cooper York and salutatorian Hope Inman!

Cooper will attend Hampton-Sydney college to major in business economics and engineering physics. Hope will attend Appalachian State University to major in communication and minor in sociology.

Cooper's Accolades: National Honor Society; earned an associate in science degree from Gaston College; member of the baseball, golf, and wrestling teams; student council - senior class senator; student ambassador.

Hope's Accolades: National Honor Society; National Technical Honor Society; involved in various school volunteer/fundraising projects; will earn an associate in arts degree from Gaston College this summer.

Congratulations to Adan Maceda and Elijah Antis on their signing to play collegiate football. Adan signed to play at NC Wesleyan and Elijah signed to Calumet College of St. Joseph’s. 🏈
