I say Sunday is self care day! Part of that for me is looking ahead and getting that darn fridge under control! So fruit over buyers unite…I use to just bag the sad blueberries, strawberries, cherries, peaches and freeze them for smoothies versus wasting them…but I have been using a hack that I love!!!

This week is cherry overload….not sure how that happened but not the first time! So here you go….found this nifty cherry pitter on Amazon ( my “grands” love it)…so I easily pit them and then place in a sauce pan add about 1/3 to 1/2 c water and start the cooking!! Stir and smash as they cook….miracle…all the natural sweetness and then the natural thicken (pectin) shows up! Wam Bam….topping for yogurt or oatmeal or freeze in small baggies and ready for a smoothie!! Ok my hubby said ice cream? Give it a try if you get overrun by your fruit enthusiasm🍎🍒🫐🍓

😜Think back to that last time you crept into the kitchen at midnight, opened up the fridge, and dipped your hand into some gooey cookie dough. Probably tasted like a mouthful of heaven, right?

The only thing stopping you from going back for seconds, and thirds, and fourths, is that cookie dough isn’t that healthy for you. Oh, and it sometimes upsets your stomach.

Not anymore. This recipe tastes exactly like cookie dough…minus the guilt…and the sugar…and the tummy aches…

Just replace the dough with some creamy nut butter and mix in nutritious ingredients like liquid stevia, garbanzo beans, and coconut milk, and voila! You have yourself a cookie dough recipe that’s vegan and low in sugar and calories.

Keep this cookie dough nearby — it’ll be impossible to taste it and not go back for more!

1 can (15 oz) of garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup of creamy nut butter (peanut or almond or tahini)
1 tablespoon of raw honey (or more to taste)
20 drops of liquid stevia (or more to taste)
2 tablespoons of flax meal
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of coconut milk, full-fat
1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
1/4 cup of Lily’s chocolate chips (stevia-sweetened)

In a food processor, combine the garbanzo beans, nut butter, honey, stevia, flax, vanilla, coconut milk, and sea salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste for sweetness; if needed, add more honey or stevia.
With a large spoon, mix in the chocolate chips. Enjoy immediately, or chill until you’re ready to serve. Enjoy!

You may have heard the word “accountability” often used in health and fitness circles and wonder if it can benefit your personal wellness journey.

The answer is a resounding “Yes!”


There is scientific support showing that a buddy who supports you in keeping your promise to yourself will accelerate your progress. In fact, research reveals you are more likely to stick to a new habit and improve your outcome when you have someone checking in on you.

The advantages of having an accountability workout partner may seem obvious, but don’t overlook these huge benefits:

👉helps ensure you won’t throw in the towel when distractions and priorities pop up
👉keeps you motivated and inspired
👉will cheer you on when times get tough
👉A workout partner is an honest, positive voice in your exercise program that will help keep track of your progress

Quite simply, whether it is fitness or weight loss, multiple studies confirm outside support boosts success.

As time goes on and you become part of a fitness community, don’t be surprised if you are asked to help someone else stay accountable in reaching their goals.

🙌We are excited to announce that we are an Official Host Location of The Murph!🙌

On Memorial Day, May 29th, we want you to come out and participate in this challenge.

The Murph is an event that builds confidence, camaraderie, and honor to all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice serving our country.🇺🇸

✔️During the month of May there will be a weekly challenge for you to complete to help get you ready for this event.💪

The Murph workout consists of a 1 mile run, 100 Dumbbell Rows, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, followed by another 1 mile run. You can participate in the Full-Murph or Half-Murph. There is no set time to finish…just the goal to finish!🏁

👊With that, we want you to get prepared for this challenge. There are two versions (Full Murph & Half Murph) of the workout - so no matter what level you are at, we are excited to see you take the challenge!

And, to add a little more encouragement, for every week of training you complete, make sure that you find an Accountability Partner for your training!!

🚀This challenge is for all skill levels, and is a great way to see what you’re capable of!
