CHAMPIONS! Team WBO Skee Dawgs and HART FORD are the winners of the two leagues at Boyne Mountain for the 2022 season! Super proud of my team each week showing up and taking no prisoners. Supremely Skilled Skiers… Old dudes that rip insanely hard. Our name is going up on the wall at the Trophy Room where they have awesome pizza.
ALSO! 13 out the 20 skiers on the two teams are from Ga***rd! 3 work at WBO… we ARE a ski town+ we love our snow!

All these guys made me proud. They all made a contribution. It’s not just about being the fastest, but helping making it a fun time so everyone wants to be there each week. The Skee Dawgs is group of recreational racers that have been together since the mid-90’s.

We are thinking of Jerome who worked at Otsego Ski Club (Chef Jake most of those years) from about 1956 until 1990. He was a hard-working guy.
He raised a great family and two of his grand kids have been WBO team members.
The Latuszek last name picture is from the old St Mary church. (Now Mount Carmel Center). Well Over 100 years ago there was no basement under the church. The families who dug it out got their name on the windows. This is no surprise that the Latuszek’s would help out.
There are only a small handful of names on the windows that are still in the Ga***rd area.
