James Sakirsky serves as the Parent Liaison for ATX Hoop Connection, helping strengthen communication and connection between our families, coaches, and organization.

A family-oriented person at heart, James enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, cheering his kids on at their sporting events, cooking, and making memories with family and friends. Even at home, there’s never a dull moment with the family dog keeping everyone entertained.

Hardworking, approachable, and down-to-earth, James values family, loyalty, communication, and community. As Parent Liaison, he is committed to being a welcoming and dependable resource for ATX Hoop Connection families and helping ensure parents feel heard, informed, and connected throughout the season.

Lee Yarbrough has dedicated more than 30 years to coaching and mentoring young athletes through the game of basketball. In addition to his coaching career, he has faithfully served as a pastor for more than 40 years, encouraging, guiding, and inspiring generations within his community.

Mr. Yarbrough’s passion extends far beyond the court. He is committed to developing young people of strong character, leadership, and faith while helping them reach their full potential as athletes.

We are incredibly grateful for his willingness to continue serving the Austin area by sharing his wisdom, experience, and heart for mentoring with the Hoop Connection family. His leadership will have a lasting impact on everyone he encounters, and we’re honored to have him as part of our team.
