After 51 amazing years of teaching dance, it is time to hang up my shoes!I am closing my school and retiring. While I am looking forward to retirement, I do so with tears in my eyes! What wonderful memories will be with me always!

Had a wonderful weekend attending the Southern Assn. of Dance Masters Fall Convention.We had 14 students attend with Mrs. Dotti, Mrs. Sally, Miss Amber and Miss Rachael.The faculty was outstanding!!! Saturday night was the Southern Stars Dance Competition - All of our dancers received DAZZLING awards. Christine Odom, Ashley Ward - "Stuff Like That There" Anne Elizabeth Matheny - So, so proud of all my girls! Love you all.

Recital 2014

We celebrated our 50th year on the 13th and what a glorious night it was!To my students - you were amazing. To their parents -thank you for letting me be a part of your children's lives. To my teachers - another outstanding job. It was a night I'll never forget! Some of my former students, some I had not seen in years, attended and it meant so much to me. Words are not enough to thank you all for the kind notes,warm wishes, gifts and flowers! Love and many thanks!!!

Our little St. Jude patient, Carson Head, and family are having a very rough time right now - PLEASE pray for them - it is very serious and they need your prayers!

Update on Carson Head - Her next round of chemo has started this week. Had a restless night so please pray for rest for Carson and her family, peace and God's guidance for her doctors! Keep those prays coming!

To all my fabulous dancers who participated in the Germantown Holiday Parade - You were so terrific!!! We won the Mayors Cup Award for the Best Overall in the walking/dancing division! Wait until you see our beautiful trophy!!!

December is the last month we will be accepting new students! Give us a call now before it is too late! Let us share our passion for dance with your child!

Paige Hollenbeck, one of our very talented dancers, is currently performing in the Playhouse on the Square production of "Peter Pan" as a lost boy. Break a leg, Paige!

Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker was Nov. 22 at the Cannon Center. Four of our students performed in this fabulous production - Grace Byrd, Stephanie Crist, Sophie Hall and Claire Wheatley!You girls performed beautifully, I am extremely proud of each of you! It was truly a magical night!

Recital 2013

Congratulations to Anne Elizabeth Matheny! She was awarded a "Radiant" rating for her solo jazz dance at the Southern Association of Dance Masters competition this past weekend. Great job, we are so proud of you!!!

Mrs. Dotti and Mrs. Sally plus 7 students are headed to Franklin TN this week to attend the Southern Association of Dance Masters summer convention! We will be taking class from choreographers from across the country and participating in the Ballet Forum!! One of our Sr. students will be performing in the competition on Friday night and we will all attend a Banquet on Saturday Night. Looking forward to lots of fun and a great four days of intensive study.
