It is with great pleasure that we announce the final date for the Guyana Open 2018 is November 3rd and 4th. The tournament will be covered by national media and recorded by drones which we will attempt to stream live (for the first time in our history)! An expected/projected full field of 100 players and a massive audience of spectators, family members, friends and fans will create a pleasantly memorable, refreshing and captivating experience! We estimate that the by-invitation-only Cocktail Reception will have over 300 persons in attendance including Players, Diplomats, Ministers of the Government and Special Invitees. Please note that the course will be closed for regular play on Friday and will re-open to members on Tuesday following the tournament. Similarly, the upper level of the clubhouse will be unavailable for normal use commencing 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov 2 until 8:00 a.m. Monday, Nov 5, 2018. Details of the Medal play Tournament over 36 holes - a two-day tournament - are as follows: Practice day on Friday from 6:00 a.m. Cocktail Reception at the Clubhouse on Friday at 6:30-8:00 p.m. (Open bar. All players will receive a Guest Pass) All registered Players may bring along their spouses or significant other. Tee times and groupings will be announced at Cocktail Reception Gift bag will be given on Saturday morning Categories: - three flights A - 0-9; B - 10-18; and C - 19-28 Field: 100 players Projected start time: 5:10 a.m. each day Breakfast 5:00 –8:40 a.m. and dinner from 5:00 p.m. on both days Water, snack and cold towels provided to Players on both days on the course Tournament Entry Fee: Local (Current) Members US$125; Foreign Members US$150; non-Members (local or foreign) US$200. FIRST 100 PLAYERS TO PAY WILL BE THE REGISTERED FIELD. NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Additionally: VIP Tickets - US$50 per day affording Food and Drink and use of the temporary VIP area upstairs at the Clubhouse. Barbecue tickets with chance to win prizes US$6 each day Schools’ Putting Competition to be held on Sunday afternoon from about 4:30 p.m.

Just to let everybody know. They do not honor their posted rates. Even after showing the old man at the counter their own posted rates, still would not honor it.
