GLP’s are effective, but you need to actively do these things while on them to get the most benefit and to keep the weight off long term.
Protein.
Lift weights.
Hydration.
Fiber.
Address your relationship with food.

If you want to improve your health and fitness, consistency is a big factor in getting long term results. Don’t try to do too much, do enough on a regular basis.
Make exercise part of your routine.
Make healthy food choices 80% of the time and have the rest as wiggle room for less healthy options.
Go to sleep around the same time each night am get adequate hours of sleep the majority of your week.

Wearing a bikini with confidence IS possible at 54. I found what works for me, my hypothyroid, my PCOS, and my menopausal symptoms. My lifestyle habits are the biggest drivers of my feeling and looking my best, but I do need supplements and medications to manage things (I am not on HRT because I can’t be for medical reasons). Self care can be trips, massages, taking a relaxing bath, walking in nature, or some other stress reducing activity that works for you.
Down time will help your body more than you realize.
