Feed. Clothe. House. Heal. That's what Let's Dare to Care participated in this weekend at St. Vincent de Paul's Urban Farm! A dream to turn a parking lot into an urban farm resulted in producing 45,000 lbs of organic food to feed the homeless! Even more amazing is that these young amazing folks earned $300 and spent it on needs in their community!! Portland A Reed enjoyed the day with three young Let's Dare to Care leaders for a visit to The Centers for Habilitation (TCH). Isaiah Pitts, an example of perseverance! Henry Hoang, excels in everything he does Michael Gaynor, who was born to lead. We spent time at The Centers for Habilitation (TCH) witnessing the contributions of people our society too often fails to protect. The residents at TCH were so loving and so caring.
