Ash James and Gabe Allen just returned, after compeating at Nat Quals in Billings. They both gave it their best effort but did not make finals.

We are proud of the growth the showed and look forward to an outstanding season, next year!

Next up- Awards and Senior Night on Tuesday, February 17, 6 pm in the library.

State 2026 is coming to a close. We are extremely proud of how well our kids did at state this year!!

Oliver Kemp came in 17th place in SPOI

James Pearson came in 13th place in Impromptu

Cody Lacock came in 11th place in Extemporaneous

Gabe Allen came in 6th place in LD Debate

Vick Overbey came in 2nd place Dramatic Interpretation

Ash James came in 4th place in Humorous Solo

Next up is National Qualifier in February!

Finals have been posted! Ash and Vick will be coming home with medals!

Cody has grown so much learning Extemporaneous this year. James will be graduating and we wish him the best! Gabe will also be coming home with hardware!

Cody broke to semi-finals, along with Ash, James and Vick. Unfortunately, Oliver did not break but did a fantastic job as an 8th grader at state!

We are at Divisionals in Shepherd competing today!

In DS-Tenley Knight in 8th place

In HI-Ash James came in 5th place

In HS-Averylynn Terrel came in 12th place, Emmy Gutow came in 8th place.

In Lincoln Douglas Debate- Gabe Allen came in 5th place.

In SPOI-Oliver Kemp came in 5th and Adam Weber in 9th

In Impromptu-James Pearson came in 3rd place.

In Extemp-Cody Lacock in 3rd place

In DI-Vick Overbey is the divisional champion!

We will be competing in Townsend for state next weekend!

Speech and Drama Update: the school we were at, Shepherd High School had a fire. We evacuated and all competitors are safe. We are now at Huntley Project to finish the final round.

Gabe only had 3 rounds without finals
Vick made it in DI
Emmy made it in Hum Solo but unfortunately Averylynn did not.
