Glastonbury Hartwell Soccer Club is proud to announce a $250,000 donation toward the new turf fields at Glastonbury High School! ⚽️💙

This project has been years in the making — and, in many ways, is the realization of a dream shared by generations of hard-working Hartwell volunteers and members of our community.

As far back as 1995, Hartwell was using its Hartwell Warmup Tournament as a “kickoff” for an ongoing fundraising effort to improve the fields in Glastonbury and build new ones. Nearly 30 years later, we are incredibly proud and grateful to see that vision become a reality.

Some Hartwell alumni may remember this long-standing vision as “The Field of Dreams” — a dream that took the dedication, persistence and support of so many volunteers, families, community members and leaders to bring to life.

We are so glad that the dream of those hard-working volunteers has finally been realized. We’re incredibly proud to support the students, families and community members who helped make this project a success, and we’re thrilled to play a part in the future of soccer at Glastonbury High School.

Here’s to the volunteers who dreamed it, the community that supported it, and the next generation who will get to play on it. ⚽️💙

The first week of practices is officially in the books! It was so great to see all of our players and coaches back out on the fields, working hard, having fun, and getting ready for an awesome season! ⚽️🔥

And some of our players even went home with books to read! 📖😊⚽️ We love seeing our Hartwell players grow both on and off the field!

Our Fields & Equipment Coordinator will be there beginning at 5:00 PM with all of the equipment for the season.

➡️ Please feel free to come early during the Rec meeting to pick up your team’s equipment. We will have drink tickets available, so grab a drink, get your gear, and hang out with everyone before the Travel Coaches Meeting begins!

Hartwell partnered with Glastonbury Gives to help fill our local food pantry—and our amazing pre-season campers showed up BIG! 🥫🥫🥫

Our players donated so many items to help support local families in need. 💕🙌
