This "First Rodeo" set was so much fun to create. I always enjoy when a theme lets me mix simple designs with more detailed cookies because every piece gets its own little personality.

One of the best parts of custom cookies is watching an idea come to life one cookie at a time until the whole set finally comes together.

I still get excited every single time that happens.

🥧 "Not every experiment is a winner..."

Can I let you in on a little secret?
Not everything that comes out of my kitchen is picture perfect.

A while back I was working on a nectarine tart.
In my head?
It was going to be incredible.

Reality...
Not so much. 😂

The custard ended up with tiny little curds instead of that silky smooth texture I was after, and the tart just wasn't what I had imagined.

I could have called it a total loss...
But instead, I looked at that custard and thought...
"There has to be another way."

So I turned it into crème brûlée.
And THAT?
That was the redemption arc this recipe deserved.

Sometimes, the best recipes happen because another one didn't.
I'm learning that baking isn't about never making mistakes.
It's about learning something every single time you step into the kitchen.

And honestly...
Those lessons are just as valuable as the blue ribbons.

Not every celebration calls for a traditional cake...

Sometimes, the answer is a giant cookie. ❤️

This birthday cookie cake was made for Lucas, complete with NY Giants themed decorations. Football, jersey, and red, white, and blue buttercream. I love getting to create desserts that are a little different while still making someone's celebration feel special.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is that no two orders are ever exactly alike. One week it's elegant baby shower cookies, the next it's a football-themed cookie cake.
Keeps life interesting...and definitely keeps me on my toes. 😄

This black, white, and gold set was created to celebrate Connor's big milestone, and I had so much fun mixing bold lettering with fun birthday details.

One of my favorite parts? The frothy beer mugs—they might not be drinkable, but they're definitely edible. 😄🍺

✨ From My Kitchen... sometimes the best recipes come with a little self-doubt.

A little confession...

The first time I made crème brûlée, I was convinced I had messed it up.

I checked it.

Checked it again.

Wondered if it was set enough.

Questioned every little jiggle.

Sound familiar? 😂

But I trusted the process.

The next day came the fun part... sprinkling the sugar, grabbing the torch, and waiting for that beautiful caramelized top to form.

And then...

CRACK.

That perfectly crisp sugar shell giving way to silky smooth custard underneath.

That moment made all the second-guessing worth it.

One thing baking has taught me is that growth usually comes with a little uncertainty. Every new recipe teaches me something, whether it turns out perfectly the first time or not.

The kitchen has always been my happy place. Food is my love language, and nothing fills my cup more than seeing someone enjoy something I've made. Whether it's cookies, crème brûlée, or a brand-new recipe, I love sharing a little piece of my heart through food.❤️

These cookies were made to celebrate a hardworking swim team, and I absolutely loved creating something that reflected the dedication these athletes bring to every practice and meet.

The marbled water effect may be my favorite part of this set—it gave every swimmer cookie a unique look while keeping the whole collection cohesive.

A few months ago, if you had told me I'd be sitting in a radio studio talking about my little home bakery, I probably would've laughed.

But here we are.

Last night I recorded an interview with The Beatlocker Show on Power 98.3, and I still can't quite believe I get to say that.
When I started decorating cookies, I simply wanted to make people smile.

I never imagined it would lead to opportunities like this.

This journey has been full of late nights, learning curves, flour-covered countertops, and more cups of coffee than I'd like to admit... but every single step has been worth it.
I'm so excited (and maybe just a little nervous 😅) to share my story, talk about my passion for baking, and give everyone a little peek into the heart behind my business.
