Congratulations to Joe Amero and Aiden DeCoste for their outstanding performances at the 2026 Pin Cancer Nationals in New York this weekend! Both faced extremely tough regional competition and battled their way onto the podium. Under the coaching of Dylan Krueger, Joe Amero secured a third place finish while DeCoste fought his way into second place. Outstanding work and commitment by both of them. North Shore Titans Wrestling continues to put guys up on the podium this summer, check them out if you are looking for some addition training.

DeCoste and Thomas take home gold at the Baystate Games!

A great day of wrestling at the always well organized Bay State Games in Fitchburg.

DeCoste was dominant today in the 138lb weight class going 4-0 and winning his first Bay State Games title. Aiden looked fast and strong all day and has greatly evolved as a wrestler. Integrating techniques from GHS, Smitty”s Wresting Barn and now Northeast Titans Wrestling DeCoste has a wide spanning toolbox to utilize.

Thomas competed in the heavyweight division as he continues to prepare for the upcoming football season with the Fisherman. Max was giving up 45-50 pounds to each of his competitors but focusing on technique was able to go 3-0 on the day to capture his second Bay State Title. Max displayed a variety of new moves he has been working on at North Shore Titans with head coach Dylan Krueger.

Joe Amero competed today as well and finished up 2-2 with both losses coming from highly ranked state wrestlers. Joe showed composure in all of his matches and both losses were very close decisions. As he continues his off season training he will be a force next year for the Fishermen in the lower weights.

Although he is a St. Johns’s Prep guy, we all like and respect Bryant Mason, son of GHS trainer Jason Mason, who dominated today in the 190lb weight class to bring home the gold.

Best of luck to Joe Amero, Aiden Bartholomew, Aiden DeCoste and Max Thomas as they compete in the Baystate Games this Saturday at Game On in Fitchburg. Amero, DeCoste and Thomas will be representing North Shore Titan Wrestling! Bartholomew will be competing under Smitty’s Wrestling Barn. I will post results on Saturday Evening and you can follow along on Flo Wrestling.

Congratulations to Aiden Bartholomew for his 1st place finish today at the War Dogs event! Bart hasn’t stopped training since the season ended and all of his hard work is paying off.

A new club to train at opens up June 1st in Beverly. North Shore Titans Wrestling being run by Coach Dylan Kruger. This is for beginners to elite levels youth and high school so if you want to learn or stay sharp for next season, this is the place to do it!

Best of luck to Joe Amero, Aiden DeCoste, Joe Allen and Max Thomas competing in the NHSCA Nationals this weekend. Weigh ins this afternoon and wrestling starts Friday morning for Freshmen and Sophomores, Friday afternoon for Juniors and Seniors. Micah McGrath from Gloucester will also be competing in the middle school division. We are also pulling for Bryant Mason (even though he is a St. John’s guy we still like his father). I will try to post updates throughout the weekend!
