It is with great sadness that we learned today of the passing of Logan. He was a strong supporter of Fixed Pin when we were just a fledgling upstart of a publisher working on our second book, Rock Climbing Arkansas. We will remember him for his humor, enthusiasm, friendliness, and amazing 24HHH costumes.
It is with a great deal of sadness and regret that we inform our friends and climbing family that Logan Wilcoxson died on Wednesday, May 19. He was a steadfast anchor in the community and his absence will be felt by the many whose lives he touched.
The family asks that memorials be made to the Arkansas Climbers Coalition (https://www.arkansasclimbers.org), which Logan founded and helped steer since its inception, or CARE—Central Arkansas Rescue Effort for Animals (https://www.careforanimals.org).
A rendezvous will be held Friday, May 28 from 5-8 PM at the Little Rock Climbing Center. There will be a chance to share thoughts and memories of Logan then. In the meantime, please send your favorite photo or memory of Logan to [email protected].
There will be another remembrance and celebration in Indiana, where Logan was born, in a few weeks.

🚵🏾♂️⛰More great press about the Wyoming Mountain Bike guidebook!
"Whether looking for an all-day adventure, a cruise on an easy trail with the kids or a multi-day camping trek via a loaded bicycle, this book offers suggestions for all types of outings. There’s even a fatbike section for those opting to keep on pedaling into the winter and notes on where ebikes – electric bikes – are allowed."
Take a read for a great summary of a great guide.
New mountain bike guidebook doubles as a coffee table picture book
Some of the routes are gnarly; others have rollers or even whoop-de-doos. If these terms seem like a foreign language, each is defined in the book “Wyoming Singletrack” by Cheyenne

Do you want a copy of the new Clear Creek guidebook a month before everyone, except the author?
Well, times are challenging, but we still need people out stewarding Clear Creek: stocking wag bags, restoring trails, replacing bolts, and advocating for climbers.
Giving back to organizations that positively impact our lands is a core value at the Fixed Pin.
Like many businesses we have taken a hit during this time.
But, we can still give back.
If you donate to the BCC this week, now through Sunday, or become a member we will enter you to get your hands one of only a few copies of the Clear Creek guidebook.
We will announce a winner unsay night at 6 PM!! @ Clear Creek Canyon
