The hunters after straightening! These definitely gave me some trouble when trying to anneal. For whatever reason I could not get the metal soft again for drilling. I usually have success annealing 1095 with ash, but what do you use for your annealing process? I ended up just getting some carbide tipped masonry bits and those did the job.
