We hear this one a lot.
âWait... arenât they a little too young to be on the trails?â
Not when theyâre surrounded by experienced coaches, riding age-appropriate terrain, and building skills one step at a time.
At GBX, we meet riders where they are. The goal isnât to send them down the biggest trail. Itâs to help them build confidence, learn safely, and discover just how capable they are.
So... are they too young?
Never.

Race days are always fun, but theyâre about more than the finish line.
Theyâre about cheering for teammates, trying something that feels hard, celebrating personal bests, and watching riders encourage each other every step of the way.
Weâre proud of every GBX PLUS rider who showed up, gave it their best, and represented our community so well.

There comes a point where you stop holding on quite so tightly.

You trust the confidence theyâve earned.
And you watch them do what they came here to do.
Then we said...

Because sometimes the best thing you can do is cheer from the sidelines while they discover what theyâre capable of.

Every child deserves the chance to experience the outdoors.
To discover a new trail. To build confidence one ride at a time. To make friends, try something challenging, and find joy in being outside.
At GBX, weâre committed to making those experiences possible for as many kids as we can, because every rider deserves a place to belong.
Children are often far more capable than we give them credit for.
When theyâre given the space to try, to fail, to problem solve, and to try again, amazing things can happen.
At GBX, we see it every season. Riders who were nervous become confident. Obstacles that once felt impossible become part of the ride. What starts as uncertainty slowly turns into capability.
Sometimes the most important thing we can do is step back, offer support, and let kids discover what theyâre capable of for themselves.

A pretty solid summer plan, if you ask us!
No complicated agenda.â¨No screens required.
Just bikes, trails, good people, and the kind of days that somehow go by way too fast.

One day theyâll be nostalgic for this.
The long rides.â¨The dirty bikes.â¨The inside jokes.â¨The friends they couldnât wait to see.â¨The summer evenings that seemed like they would last forever.
Right now, itâs just another ride.
One day, itâll be a memory theyâll wish they could revisit.
So let them ride.
