The 11s and 13s took first place in their age divisions two tourney weekends in a row. We love to see the boys experience the kind of success only found on the other side of being gritty in adversity.

We play the long game. A youth baseball team's record doesn't always tell the whole story. Most gains at this level aren't measured in a win-loss record. When you prioritize player development, wins are a byproduct of the discipline this game demands. We develop ballplayers through competition. Strong competition, preferably. We're not for everybody, and we're not trying to be. Growing ballplayers takes time, and a lot of failure. Some say competitive youth sports is a pick-your-poison situation. We think it's a pick-your-philosophy situation.

Congratulations, boys. It's well earned. Stay humble and get back to work
