FYI: The Mary Free Bed basketball courts will be closing on Monday, August 17 for resurfacing. This process allows us to recoat and seal the floors to keep them safe and in good condition for play.
We expect this process to take about a week. We will keep you updated as needed.

Today, our Wellness Coaches are putting EGYM through its paces before you do, ensuring they're prepared to answer your questions, provide guidance, and help create a great first experience.

If you've been to the Visser Family YMCA, you may have noticed a few changes. We are making way for EGYM!
Here’s what makes EGYM machinery special:
It gets to know you: Tap your member pass at the machine, and it will automatically adjust the seat height, range of motion, and resistance to your precise settings. You’ll be up and running with no dials or levers to guess at.
It finds your right resistance: An initial strength test will determine your starting weight resistance, so you’re not guessing whether you’re lifting too much or too little.
It meets you where you are: Whether you’re brand new to strength training or you’ve been at it for years, the same equipment will adjust to challenge you appropriately.
Before you start using the equipment, you'll need a quick Coaching Connection session. Call (616) 855-9622 and ask to schedule a Coaching Connection at our Visser Family YMCA.
