Weather outlook looks good for tomorrow’s race at JT Hobby and Toys based on the hourly reports. It will be a bit chilly in the morning, so come prepared.

9am - Registration will open
9:30 - Mini MT Practice to begin
10am - Mini MT Racing will begin
10am - JT Hobby Shop opens
11:30 - Mini MT Freestyle

12 Lunch Break
12:30 Registration Opens
1pm - 2WD MT & Pro-Mod Practice
1:30 - 2WD MT & Pro-Mod Racing followed by Retro

4pm - Freestyle
5pm - Hope to be wrapped up.

If time allows, we will run a second set of races in their allotted time slots (Mini would still run in the 10a-12p window and larger trucks in the 1-4 window).

🏁 2026 WMRCMT Race Series – Dates Are Set! 🏁

The dates and locations are officially locked in for the 2026 WMRCMT Race Series! Mark your calendars and start getting those trucks dialed in.

For this season, we’re returning to the two locations (Walter RC Park & JT Hobby and Toys) we raced at last year to help build consistency and momentum as we continue establishing the series. Our goal is long-term growth for RC monster truck racing in our area, and this gives us a strong foundation to build on.

If you’re interested in hosting a future event, please reach out! This isn’t meant as a slight to anyone — it’s simply been a busy season, and I needed to get key dates secured so we can keep moving forward in a structured way.

Team PRP showing off their 1/10 scale MT axles for the LMT. Scale gets weird in our hobby as the LMT is sold as 1/8 scale, but runs in what was a 1/10 MT class. We go more by width and wheelbase. That said, these do look good. I'm a bit curious about 1/10 stampede diff and axle shafts under LMT power, but they sure do look good.

Help spread the word–the race is on! Just got of the phone with Dave at Walter RC Park and he said the track and parking area looks good for the race tomorrow. Start packing up your RC monster trucks and charging those batteries.

Mini Monsters registration is at 9am. Practice starting around 9:30 and racing by 10am with Freestyle at the end.

Lunch break 12pm: Walter RC Park does have some food items available to purchase if you don't want to bring food with you. Some subs, hot dogs, pop, water and I heard there may be some cheeseburgers.

Pro-Mod, 2WD Monsters, and Retro registration is at 12pm. Practice around 12:30 and racing at 1pm. Followed by Freestyle at the end.

You are allowed up to 2 trucks per class. Entry fee is $10 for first truck and $5 for each additional truck.
