The boys had a long week. 4-2 loss in Boothbay last night but the rain was nice enough to stay away and let us get our game in.

Time to rest up and get ready for games next week. Farmington, home game and then Augusta next week.

Post 86 baseball fell to a good Oxford team last Friday night. They are looking to bounce back against GSM tonight at CMCC starting at 5:30 pm

Tonight’s game with Oxford has been cancelled.

We will play home in Cumberland tomorrow night with a start time of 5:30 pm

So our first game was a great game in Waterville at Colby College

Cody pitched an amazing game with a ton of strikeouts. Congrats to him for an amazing performance.

Landon came in to finish out the game for us and did a good job. Our pitching only gave up two hits and six walks over 8 innings combined. Better than the Red Sox.

It was a tough battle all night into extra innings but CM came out on top in the bottom of the 8th on a ground out that scored their winning run.

Our boys played hard and stuck with it to the very end against a good team.

Great start to our season. Our next game is Thursday night against Oxford in Harrison if the weather holds off. Then home against them on Friday in Cumberland.

Come watch some exciting baseball this season as we battle some good teams.

So Post 86 baseball finished up this Sunday with a practice and barbecue before we start our season on Wednesday.
