The last day of summer basketball camps + volleyball coaching contact. Squeezing it all in before the end of July as fall seasons quickly approach!

Had a great first day of basketball camps!

Thankfully the storm stayed south as we took precautions in moving vehicles under cover. We're praying for those impacted more in the valley.

The third time was the charm! After t-storms and heat/wildfire smoke postponed the first two tries, God gave us gorgeous weather for our inaugural Providence football camp on Thursday!

Thanks to all who participated, and we look forward to continued growth in our football program.

One more week of summer camps left with basketball next week. We'll still take signups through the end of today for the Monday/Tuesday sessions and Sunday night for the Wednesday/Thursday groups.

We have made the difficult decision to cancel our 3rd-8th grade cross country camps that were planned for this coming Monday and Tuesday due to a combination of low sign-up numbers and poor air quality. We will fully refund campers.

Please pray for improved air quality for our Thursday football camp. We still have openings and welcome sign-ups through the end of Monday, July 20.

More weather curveballs! Any school-affiliated athletic events "will not be held outside in a heat index of 100 or above or air quality index of 200 or above," per our athletic handbook. We are over 250 now and getting worse.

This impacts any coaching contact, captain's practices, and summer camps (we have already moved our football camp to next week). Stay tuned for additional updates into tomorrow.

Hopefully the third time will be the charm?! After major thunderstorms in June, and significant heat this week, we're shifting our inaugural football camp to next Thursday, July 23.

That means we've extended sign-ups once again through next Monday, July 20, so if you couldn't make the first and/or second slot, you have another opportunity too.

Open to all boys entering K-8th grades, and we'll warm up together then split into separate age-specific groups.

Looking for fall sports gear and spiritwear? You have until July 17 to get it!

Jerseys/uniforms are school-owned and provided, but this apparel is a great way to support the team and represent Providence.

📆 WIAA Summer Non-Contact Period: July 1-6

This week marks the WIAA's annual summer non-contact period. Providence coaches will not be conducting school-sanctioned practices or instruction until summer contact resumes on Tuesday, July 7.

We hope our student-athletes use this week to rest, recover, recharge, and enjoy time with family before the last half of summer leading into another exciting school year!
