It is my mission that you feel truly supported through your process of giving birth and after your little one arrives. I am here to help you get what you need and want. Sometimes it is difficult to even figure out what you need during a time that is always changing. I understand that it may not always be easy to know exactly what would be most helpful when sleep deprived and immersed in a significant life transition. I also understand that you may have a deep sense of what is right and wrong for you and your little one, but may not feel the support of everyone around you. I can support you here. The mind, body, and spirit work together and affect each other. Tending to all parts of yourself, you will learn about what you need to be happy and whole. When you are experiencing common symptoms of pregnancy or postpartum such as nausea, sleeplessness, headaches, and etc, I offer solutions through yoga, nutrition, natural remedies and simple lifestyle changes as different issues come up during your process. I also help prioritize tasks and create systems. Pulling from my network of incredible local practitioners, services and resources and your own family and friends, we create a safety net around you. This empowering support network is created to allow you the security to go within and trust your inner knowing or intuition. Intuition is your greatest guide on a journey that is full of choices. I am passionate that my clients know they have the right to make informed decisions and make choices from an educated perspective, not out of fear. Intelligent patients help change the health care system to include compassionate practices for pregnant and birthing families. My practice provides services for people who want excellence in their medical experience. We have the right to feel safe when we are faced with the challenges of giving birth. I advocate for your rights and help interpret medical language or listen as you sort through choices and research the evidence based options with you. I feel that each client should make the choices that feel authentic and safe to YOU. The key is that you feel supported in the decisions that feel best. That is my job as your doula. EASE is the way I offer effective care to our community. Each client receives a comprehensive 90 minute intake and strategy session, three one hour consultations, and up to three additional 20 minute phone sessions. We will use email and text to stay in touch as we set up your self care systems, community/family network and find answers to your personal questions/concerns. Clients also receive an herbal care kit of their choice, 30 minutes of bodywork per session and other physical support focused on creating self care practices. My clients have consistent access to me and regular check-ins through email, text and phone in between sessions. Birth attendance, overnight and on-call support is available on a limited basis. EASE services include personalized referrals connecting you with high quality health care providers, birth and postpartum doulas and other local resources. EASE clients receive a 10% discount on all Birth and Postpartum services.
