We’re also proud to announce that The Warm Up Taekwondo Championships is officially partnering with North Carolina 2029 to serve as the test event for the World University Games on January 23rd, 2027 and again in 2028;a huge milestone for our event and the Taekwondo community.

What does that look like? All athletes will still be able to compete as we will offer the same divisions next year, but expect more athletes, more energy, and even more value than ever before as we continue to raise the standard. We’re excited, we’re grateful, and we’re ready!🔥👊🥋

We’re excited for the sparring seminar kicking off The Warm Up Taekwondo Championships weekend with Terrence Jennings! This is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills, gain high-level insight, and prepare mentally and physically before competition day. 🔥👊

⚠️ Important note: The training room will be carpeted, so we highly recommend bringing Taekwondo shoes to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal movement during the seminar.

MEET A-MINOR
Based in Charlotte, NC, DJ A-Minor has set himself apart from the crowd and become one of the most respected and sought-after club and private event DJs in the Carolinas. As the official DJ for both the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets and the University of South Carolina Gamecocks Football program, A-Minor brings experience from some of the country’s biggest stages. He is also an educator, having taught the art, culture, and history of DJing in conjunction with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and abroad as part of the Next Level Program in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is a proud member of the Radical Grove DJ Collective.

With DJ A-Minor on the turntables, expect high energy from start to finish — this tournament is about to hit DIFFERENT! 🔥🎶

⚠️ Important: All report times are subject to change and may shift earlier or later depending on how the event runs. We strongly ask that all athletes and coaches arrive at least 30 minutes BEFORE your scheduled report time in case we get ahead of schedule.
