🚨 “He works harder than everyone else” isn’t a flex. That’s the baseline at the college level.

👉Every player college coaches recruit works hard.
👉Effort isn’t what separates you, it’s what’s expected.

After much effort to make everything work out we have decided to end our Very Successful run as a Full time team in ages 13-15. There was no blow up or split in the team but when the kids get this age and go to different schools where they have so many other things to go with baseball , we just thought it was time.
I could coach forever and not have as much fun and build as many relationships with players, coaches and families as I have with this group. It has truly been a Blessing in my life that came at a time that I really needed it. I have seen travel teams that have more Drama on one Saturday of Pool Play than we had in 4 seasons. I love Every one of these guys and I hope they know that just because they leave my team doesn’t mean that I’m not always in their corner. I wish them all success in their future teams , High School ball and beyond. Special thanks to Jeff Moran for putting it all together and to all our other assistants and BP throwers from all the seasons Justin Swiger , Josh Apple , Rug Gaston , Bob Van Etten , Matt Atkinson and Jermel Henry. Love you guys and thanks for everything

And not ruling out maybe getting the team back together for a couple tournaments next summer if we can get everyone an off weekend

This is why I stress to get an aggressive secondary lead. That extra foot or two can win a game

It’s all about fundamentals! I can’t believe he was doing a weak secondary lead. It’s just brutal to watch this

Setting high goals is great ,but you have to be willing to put in the work to get there. Not just when you feel like it , but especially when you don’t. Don’t tell everybody how hard you work. Show them ⚾️

Got to play at a great facility today and even though we started sluggish we ended up with a big 19-4 win featuring 5 triples by 5 different players. 💙⚾️🩵
