They fear what they don't understand... Kids younger than 7 CAN have a meaningful training experience in martial arts -- with the right environment. That's why I spent thousands of dollars on my own education and countless hours (now years) perfecting my classes and curriculum. It's based on the specific development of this age group -- what they can handle, time-wise, and what they can absorb, info-wise. It's what allows us to get major breakthroughs and positive changes in their behavior AND their mindset OUTSIDE of our classes, which is where the parent REALLY wants to see it.
Is your child is excited about trying a new activity, only to MELT DOWN when you get there? Though they've been talking about it for days, you are now ultimately confused (and a little irritated) by their behavior.
