Although our inaugural season hit an unexpected timeout, our support to our league remains. We spent the day cheering on the teams of Tripoint Football League at the showcase today. Here’s to the start of another great season!

Our launch timeline may have shifted, but our momentum has not. We are actively planning for the future and look forward to sharing upcoming opportunities with anyone interested in being part of the journey. 🏈

We have taken some time before sharing this update, as it has been weighing heavily on us and we wanted to ensure we communicated it thoughtfully and appropriately— but finding the right words just didn’t come easily…

After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our kickoff season until 2027. This decision comes in light of a devastating medical diagnosis within ownership’s family. The upcoming months are expected to be unpredictable and a challenging time, and while we remain deeply committed to our organization, our family must come first during this time.

We are incredibly grateful for those who continue to stand beside us with understanding and support. We also understand and respect the decision of any of our athletes that have chosen to join other teams for this upcoming season. There are no hard feelings, and we wish each athlete continued success wherever they compete.

Please know that our dedication to building this team has not changed. We will continue to hold practices, focus on team development, and plan opportunities such as scrimmages when appropriate to maintain momentum heading into next season.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding during this difficult time for our family.

Anyone interested in playing for the 2026 Season with the team is encouraged to attend our upcoming informational meeting.

🏈All positions at this time are available. (There are no signed contracts at this time - will be determined after try-outs)
🏈Coaching positions are also available. If interested, please send the page a message and plan to attend the meeting.
🏈 All athletes must be 18 or older.
🏈 The league will require travel to out of state away games.
🏈 We are a pay to play team. - Each signed athlete will be required to pay a minimal fee, provide their own equipment and pay for uniforms.
🏈 Fundraising opportunities are provided to help with cost, and individual sponsorship donations are welcomed. (501c3 available for tax write off purposes)

Word travels fast - and gossip travels even faster😂 ...so, allow me to introduce myself. . .

My name is Rachel Snow, and my husband is Jerry Snow. We have been together for 10 years now and are the proud parents of two daughters that are soon to be 17 and 15 years old. Throughout these years, we’ve been dedicated to making sure that our kids had the best support system behind them for any sport or activity that they showed interest in and always invested ourselves wholeheartedly back into their sports/activities as well. I am currently going on my 6th season as the treasurer for my daughter’s All Star Cheer’s Boosters Club, and my husband is one of those proud crazy cheer dads that you can find sporting a purple tutu at all of the cheer competitions. While we wouldn’t trade this life for anything in the world, the painful reality is that our kids are quickly growing up and will soon find their own independence without us…leaving us with an abundance of freetime in the evenings and an empty calendar…

When Jerry and I first got together, we spent countless hours discussing life goals, ambitions and dreams. He shared with me that when he was a Junior in High School, he received a college scholarship to play football, but unfortunately due to injury his scholarship was quickly revoked. The devastation and the disappointment from this loss discouraged him from trying again his Senior year, which at times had left him with the question of what could have been if he was given a second chance at the right time in his life. . .

Motivated by this experience, we made the decision to establish a football team designed to provide others with the opportunities and support that he was once denied. Our vision is to build more than just a team; we aim to foster a program where second chances are real, growth is encouraged, and the love of the game is matched with our dedication to developing strong, confident athletes. As we continue to build our team, our long-term goal is to transform it into a powerful mentorship program as well. We strongly believe that the structure, discipline and commitment required at this level of a football program can serve as a foundation for personal growth - especially for young men navigating critical stages of life. It is well recognized that staying engaged in a sports team will encourage the athletes to learn accountability, teach them leadership skills and build a sense of purpose. Through building this program, we hope that our coaching staff and chosen athlete leaders are more than just their titles but also help to create the culture to encourage all athletes to strive for excellence both on and off the field.

Over the last two years, Jerry has played in another league and this last year I served as the team’s treasurer. We’re both genuinely grateful for that experience and everything that we have learned along the way, but over time we realized that the direction and culture of this league didn’t fully align with our core values. It was at this time that we began researching other leagues that better reflected our same vision - one that is founded in integrity, mentorship, sense of community and feels more like a family. This search led us to our current league, the Tripoint Football League. After just one near hour-long phone conversation with the league’s leadership - it was clear to us that we had found the one for us. The connection felt genuine to us, our values aligned, and we instantly felt welcomed!

Family has always been important to both of us - not just in a traditional sense, but through the strong connections we build with people over time. To us, family means loyalty, trust and a shared purpose - not just someone we biologically are related to. Our head coaches that we have chosen to help lead our team to success have been considered our family for years now. We’re proud of who they are as men on and off the field, their morals and their passion for football. (An additional announcement for our coaches will be made in the future!) We are currently in the early stages of planning and working diligently to finalize key details for the full launch of our upcoming season. As soon as additional details are finalized, we will be sure to share them! Planning ahead - we anticipate hosting a team tryout in the fall, with weekly conditioning and practices to begin immediately once tryouts are completed and team contracts are signed. The Tri-Point preseason begins May 2026, and the season’s games are from June through August - championship game is held in September. The league does require traveling within Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. In addition to finalizing our season’s details, we are in the process of securing our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status to support our long-term vision: making participation accessible to all athletes, regardless of financial background. We are committed to providing fair and inclusive opportunities and will be organizing monthly fundraising initiatives to help athletes offset expenses and remain focused on their development.
