GC is blessed to share that this amazing Christian Athlete is a member of our softball coaching staff.

I’m incredibly honored to have been named the 2026 Outstanding Junior Student for the Department of Marketing, Hospitality Management, Fashion Merchandising, and Sport Management. My teammate and I were unable to attend the ceremony due to softball, which was tough to miss, but being recognized in this way truly means so much to me.

Balancing academics and athletics has not always been easy, but it has pushed me to grow in ways I’m really proud of. I’m so thankful for the professors, coaches, teammates, friends, and family who continue to support me every day!

I’m excited to keep working, learning, and making the most of my upcoming senior year at AU!

Congrats to Mount Pleasant’s own Courtney Poulich! She’s owns the new Horizon League home run record and is the D1 Softball Mid-Major player of the week.
