Allow me to introduce myself to some and reintroduce myself to others. My name is Jessica Celeste and I am Founder and CEO of this beautiful brand that I created for curvy and plus sized women. Why? Because I noticed how the media always associated thinness and ripped abs to health. Truthfully, you can't gauge someone's level of health by their body size or shape. Fitness is not about being a size 2 and to be honest for as long as I can recall, I've never wanted to be a size 2. â €

I come from a long line of healthy and curvy women with many shapes and sizes on both sides of my family. My curves are no mistake and over the years I have co-created this beautiful body of mines. Growing up in the south meant I had access to many unhealthy food choices. The south is known as the stroke belt. Growing up in a rural area I had no access to gyms, walking trails, and nice parks like I do now that I live in the city. Now with access to those resources, I'm dedicated to breaking the generational curse of poor health by committing to a healthier, fit lifestyle.â €

At the end of the day, fitness is a lifestyle. Not a race to lose weight fast. It's about overcoming bad habits in exchange for new one's. It's about loving yourself and doing what is best for your wellbeing. It's about being a better you. What if instead of coming up with excuses to not workout, you try doing a short 10 minute workout?
Open up YouTube and choose a 10 minute workout of your choice (there are endless options!) Although working out for 10 minutes is not enough to get shredded, it is better than not working out at all. Something is always better than nothing.
While a short 10 minute workout may not help you get a sixpack, it will definitely help you train your body and prepare you for bigger workouts.
