🎾 What an incredible start to our summer season!

We are wrapping up the first half of our summer programming with over 100 elementary players participating in our morning and evening classes this session!

This summer, we have welcomed nearly 350 players (and more to come) from K-12 across all of our programs. We are incredibly thankful for the support of our families, players, and coaching staff who continue to make Southside Tennis such a special community.

Here are a few of our favorite moments from the first session! From first-time players to experienced competitors, we’ve loved seeing so much energy, growth, and fun on the courts this summer.

Thank you for being part of Southside Tennis. We hope everyone enjoys the IHSAA Moratorium Week, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the courts soon for the second half of our summer programming!

A huge congratulations to the 10 Southside Tennis players who competed this weekend in the USTA Midwest Closed Championships (Level 3) across Indiana and Michigan. Competing in one of the premier junior tournaments in the Midwest is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are proud of the effort, resilience, and sportsmanship our players demonstrated throughout the event.

👏 Special recognition to:

Sophia Heck (Girls 16s) for reaching the Quarterfinals of the Main Draw in Singles and the Quarterfinals of the Main Draw in Doubles with her partner.

Yuvraj Dasari (Boys 16s) for finishing as the Consolation Finalist in singles and reaching the Quarterfinals of the Main Draw in doubles with his partner.

The Midwest Closed Championships feature many of the top junior players from across the Midwest, and earning wins and making deep runs at this level is something to be proud of.

Congratulations to all of our Southside Tennis players from schools across Central Indiana on an outstanding 2026 IHSAA Girls Tennis season!

A special shoutout to our Plainfield players for helping make program history by winning the school’s first-ever Regional Championship and advancing to the Semi-State.

Congratulations as well to our Center Grove players for an incredible postseason run to the State Quarterfinals, where they battled Carmel in a hard-fought, competitive match.

We are proud of all of our players and the way they represented their schools, teammates, and communities throughout the season.

We can’t wait to have everyone back on the courts this summer! ☀️🎾

Strong weekend for the Kandris brothers!

Nicholas Kandris captured the Level 6 title at Zionsville, defeating Jacob Shin 4-2, 4-0 in the Boys’ 14U Singles final.

Alexander Kandris finished runner-up in the Level 6 at Healthplex, falling to Jude Sangar 3-6, 3-6 in the Boys’ 18U Singles final.
