GBC OZONE All-Stars 2024

The GBC SC State Champion “O”zone All-Stars will participate in the Greer Christmas parade this Sunday. Come out and show your support if you get a chance!

Your 2024 Greer Ozone AllStars were recognized tonight by Greer City Council for their DYB State Championship and recent World Series appearance.
Congratulations boys. You make the city proud!!

A huge congratulations to team SC for the way they competed down in Bossier City, LA the past few days. This team represented their home state very well. Wins against Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. They ran into a very tough opponent in Georgia and simply didn’t have their “A” game that day. Georgia ended up winning the whole thing yesterday. A tight loss to NC ended their run.
We are so proud of these boys for their hard work. District 1 Champions, SC State Champions and 5th in the Division 1 “O” zone World Series. Unbelievable run and we are all so proud.

They say baseball is a game of inches. Team SC was up 8-0 to n the bottom of the 5th with 2 runners on. Kyeler Brunson smokes a ball to the left fielder that would have scored 2 runs had it been a few inches higher. The LF made a great snag. Next inning Texas puts up 5 to make the game go from “crushing to the win” to a nail biter! FINAL SC 8 - TX 5

Game 1 is in the books. Team SC takes a 3-2 win in 6 innings. Easton Shealy had a single with 1 out and stole his way to 3rd. With 2 out, Ethan Derosia singled up the middle to bring in the winning run. ⭐️ ⚾️
They take on Texas today at 1:30 Central Time, 2:30 back home.
