🕷️ SPIDERS GAMEDAY — THANKFUL FOR THE GRIND 🕷️

It started back in July.
No spotlight. No big stage. Just a few guys who love this game enough to keep showing up.
We built this from nothing — one throw, one swing, one long night at a time.

And now we’re here — playoff night.
Every inning, every rep, every moment led us to this one.
The records, the stats, the noise — none of that matters anymore.
What matters is that we get to take the field again tonight.

Across from us stand the 2024 defending champions.
They might’ve won the World Series — but this ain’t that.
This is a different story, a different energy, and a group of guys who’ve worked for every inch to be here.

We respect the game.
We respect the grind.
And we’re grateful to still be part of it.

No matter how this one ends, we’ve already won in the ways that matter most.
We showed up when others couldn’t.
We worked when nobody was watching.
We turned a vision into something real — something proud to be part of.

Because baseball doesn’t owe you anything.
Every inning is borrowed time, and every game is a gift.

So tonight, we play hard, we play together, and we appreciate every moment we’ve earned.

And if this is the last one for now — thank you.
Thank you to every player who suited up, every voice that cheered, every hand that helped make it happen.
It’s not easy. But win or lose, it’s always worth it.

From the bottom of my heart — thank you for making baseball happen.

Let’s finish strong. Let’s play with gratitude. Let’s play Spider baseball. 🕷️

GREER SPIDERS — BUILT TO HUNT. PROUD TO PLAY.

🕷️ UNDER THE LIGHTS. UNDER THE WEB. 🕷️
It’s another October night at Stevens Field — the Spiders are home and ready to take on the Cubs under the glow of the lights.

Every inning counts as the regular season winds down and the playoffs draw near. The grind has been real, but this group keeps showing up, fighting for every pitch, every out, every moment that makes baseball feel like October again.

Bring the noise, bring the energy, bring your voices.
Tonight’s about heart, hustle, and the brotherhood built in red and black.

🕷️ GAMEDAY — GREER SPIDERS BASEBALL 🕷️

October 9 2025 • 6:30 PM • Stevens Field

October is when the web tightens.
The traps are set, the lights come on, and every pitch carries the weight of what we’ve built.

We’ve been patient — waiting through off weeks, weather, and road games — but tonight, we’re home. Finally. And now it’s time to remind everyone that Spiders don’t chase… we wait, strike, and finish.

We face the Twins tonight under the lights, and this isn’t just another night at Stevens Field — this is a chance to show that all the work, all the fight, all the late nights meant something.

Four games left before the playoffs.
Four chances to tighten the web.
Four nights to show the league what Greer baseball looks like when it refuses to quit.

This is our month — October belongs to the Spiders.
Fast. Focused. Relentless.
We play for each other, we play for that black and red, and we play because this is who we are — builders, grinders, believers.

So bring the energy. Bring the fight. Bring the web alive.

🕷️⚾ GAME NIGHT – GREER SPIDERS vs 2021 GAB CHAMPION CUBS ⚾🕷️

September 22nd, 2025

The stage is set. The lights are on. The Spiders return to Stevens Field tonight at 6:30 PM with one question on everyone’s mind:

👉 Will tonight be the night the Spiders strike down the Cubs and claim our first victory?

And this isn’t just any Cubs team. This is the 2021 GAB Champions. A team with history, with banners, with respect. But tonight they step into our web. And this October-built squad of Spiders is hungrier than ever. 🕸️

🕷️ The Journey So Far

Back in July, the Spiders were just an idea — a group of guys getting creative, holding practices at Stevens Field and Century Park, building chemistry, finding our rhythm. Fast-forward to now: we’re five games in, battle-tested, and every inning has sharpened us. We’ve already learned what it takes.

We know the grind. We know the sting of close games. We know the taste of progress. And we know this: one win, and we climb right out of the basement. That climb starts tonight.

---

🕷️ The Heart of the Team

What makes this team special isn’t just stats on paper — it’s the grit and fire in every Spider who steps between the lines. We’ve taken punches, we’ve bounced back, and we’ve refused to quit.

💥 Big swings from the middle of the order.
💥 Hustle on the basepaths.
💥 Web-tight defense under the lights.

This isn’t just baseball — it’s brotherhood. And when you’re a Spider, you fight together.

---

🕷️ Built for October

There’s something poetic about this season. The Spiders, born in July, now grinding into late September with eyes on October. Halloween is coming, the air is cooler, and the vibes are darker. This team? We were made for nights like this.

Rumor has it… a certain Greenville Spider-Man might be swinging by in October 👀🕸️. And trust us — you won’t want to miss that.

🕷️ Greer Spiders Mid-Year Report 🕷️

Five games in. The record shows 0–5, and there’s no way to sugarcoat that — it’s the toughest start you can have. But if you’ve been watching closely, you know this isn’t the same team that took the field back in August.

Back in July, the Spiders were just an idea — a creative thought that quickly turned into action. By the end of the month, we were practicing at Stevens Field and Century Park, putting together lineups, learning each other’s game, and figuring out what it would take to compete. Then came our first game, the lights came on, and suddenly the dream was real. Now, five games in, we know what this league is all about — and we know exactly what it takes to win.

📊 Standings

Dodgers: 6–0

A’s: 4–1

Twins: 3–2

Reds: 3–2

Braves: 1–4

Cubs: 1–4

Spiders: 0–5

One win — that’s all it takes to climb out of the basement. And Monday against the Cubs, we get that chance.

⚾ Spiders Player Highlights

The record doesn’t show it yet, but the bats are coming alive and the lineup is producing across the board:

T. Martinez ( #2): The Spark - Speed and hustle. 5 hits, 4 stolen bases, and 4 runs scored. Creates chaos every time he’s on base.

K. Walker ( #13): Leads the team with 8 hits, .464 OBP, 4 runs scored, and constant pressure on the bases.

Z. Trusk ( #5): Power threat. Already has a home run, 3 RBIs, and a 2.750 OPS. A bat pitchers fear.

E. Muñoz ( #00): Slugger with instant pop. Extra-base knock and a massive 3.000 OPS in limited at-bats.

S. Yeargin ( #8): Clutch contributor. Driving in runs and showing patience with timely walks.

L**h ( #13): Solid 2-way player who’ve reached base, swiped bags, and kept innings alive with hustle and has the most innings pitched this season.

It’s not just the stars — the lineup as a whole is getting sharper every week. From top to bottom, the Spiders are finding ways to put runners on, move them over, and push across runs.

---

🏆 The Heart

What makes this team special isn’t just the numbers — it’s the heart. Week after week, the guys keep showing up in the face of adversity. Nobody’s hanging their head. Nobody’s quitting. Instead, the Spiders are bringing energy, picking each other up, and enjoying every chance to play the game.

Because there’s nothing like stepping onto a baseball field, hearing the pop of the glove, and playing under the lights. That feeling is why we started, and it’s what fuels us every inning. The first win is coming — and it will mean even more because of the fight it took to get there.

---

🔥 The Mentality

The Greer A’s proved in 2022 that anything is possible — going from 2–8 to shocking the league and winning the championship in their first year. Now it’s the Spiders’ turn to write their story.

We’ve already spun the first threads of our web. Each game has tightened it, each inning has made it stronger. And when that first victory lands, it’ll be the moment the Spiders sink their fangs into this league for real.

And let’s be real — this team is built for October. Halloween on the horizon, black and red under the lights, and even talk of a special appearance from Greenville’s Spider-Man to rally the team and fans. The timing couldn’t be more perfect.

💥 We are the Spiders. We are built to fight. We are built to crawl out of the basement and climb higher. And we are built for October.

🕷️⚾ The web is growing. The heart is beating. The win is coming. Monday, we get our shot!

🕷️ The Spiders Are Rising 🕷️

September 17, 2025 - Stevens Field

This game wasn’t just baseball — it was proof that the Spiders are coming together as a team.

⚡️ Z. Trusk launched a 2-run Homerun that soared over the fence.
⚡️ S. Yeargin ripped a double, drove in a run, and crossed the plate.
⚡️ E. Muñoz smoked a double of his own and kept the energy alive.
⚡️ T. Greene got on, stole a bag, and turned hustle into a run.
⚡️ E. Murphy drove in a run and then took the ball, striking out hitters on the mound.
⚡️ H. L**h battled through innings, competing pitch by pitch and keeping us in the fight.

From the first pitch to the last, the Spiders played solid baseball. A few errand plays, sure. But the hustle? The base running? The heart? That was undeniable.

📸🔥 The pictures show it. The videos prove it. Diving plays. Aggressive steals. Dugout fire.

We win as one. We lose as one. And even though the scoreboard gave us the “L,” this felt like a win in every other way. Because this is how progress looks.

This is where other teams quit. Where players hang their heads. But not us. The Spiders don’t quit. We don’t break. We grow tougher. Every pitch. Every inning. Every rep.

Practice doesn’t make perfect. Practice makes PROGRESS. And progress is exactly what’s happening.

---

And now, eyes forward: Monday night vs the Cubs. The hunt for our first victory is alive, and you can feel it — we’re right there. The bats are waking up. The defense is sharpening. The arms are competing. Every game we’ve played has brought us closer to breaking through.

The Cubs are standing in the way, but that’s just the next challenge in front of us. We’ve already shown we can go toe-to-toe with anybody. What we’re building isn’t luck, it’s momentum, and it’s only getting stronger.

When that first W comes — and make no mistake, it’s coming — it won’t just be a win. It’ll be a declaration that the Spiders are here to stay. That all the work, the sweat, the grind, the belief, has been worth it.

🕷️ One Team. One Fight. One Web. The Spiders are coming — and Monday could be the night we strike. 🕷️

🕷️ Spiders Gameday — Rain Make-Up Showdown 🌧️⚾

You know the song… “The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout, down came the rain and washed the spider out…”

Well tonight, the rain can’t stop us — because the Spiders are climbing right back up that spout and onto the diamond. 💪 This rain make-up isn’t just another game — it’s the chance for our first victory.

🕷️ Spiders Strike First Against the Champs ⚾🔥

September 15th, 2025

Monday night, under the lights at Stevens Field in Greer, South Carolina, the Greer Spiders faced their toughest test yet — the Tri-City Dodgers, the undefeated, reigning, defending champions of the league.

And right from the start, the Spiders made it clear: they weren’t here to roll over.

💥 In the top of the 1st inning, the Spiders silenced all doubters by landing the first punch. K. Walker ripped a single to get things moving, then H. L**h followed with a rocket double to center field, sending Walker charging around the bases to score. Just like that, the Spiders were on top 1–0, and the crowd could feel the energy. The champs were rattled. Yhe tone was set. This wasn’t going to be a one-sided night — it was going to be a fight.

---

🔥 Spider Bats Show Out

Against one of the deepest pitching staffs in the league, the Spiders pounded out 10 hits — more than enough to show they can square up with anyone.

⭐ K. Walker had the game of his season, going a perfect 4-for-4, with a double, an RBI, and a stolen base. Every time the Spiders needed a spark, he delivered.

⭐ L**h not only brought home the first run of the game, but also finished with an extra-base hit and an RBI that proved the Spiders’ offense can match with the best of them.

⭐ J. Wall, T. Greene, and S. Yeargin each ripped extra-base hits of their own, driving the ball with authority and keeping the Dodgers’ defense under constant pressure.

⭐ On the basepaths, Walker and Greene swiped bags and showed no fear, forcing the Dodgers to play fast and make throws under pressure.

This was relentless baseball. This was Spiders baseball.

---

⚡ On the Mound

T. Martinez took the ball and gave everything he had through 4 innings, battling one of the toughest lineups in the league. He didn’t flinch, even when the Dodgers capitalized on defensive miscues. He competed on every pitch.

T. Greene came in relief, and he made sure the Dodgers didn’t add any more. He struck out 2 in his inning of work and slammed the door to give the offense a chance.

---

🕷️ The Difference

The scoreboard read the Dodgers won, but the box score told the real story. The Spiders had:

More total hits than the Dodgers.

Multiple extra-base hits and stolen bases.

The first lead of the game.

Pitchers who refused to back down against an all-star lineup.

Where the Dodgers pulled away was on mistakes — defensive errors that gave free baserunners to a team that punishes every slip-up. Championship teams feast on opportunities, and that’s what they did.

But here’s the truth: the Spiders are right there. The gap isn’t wide.

---

💬 The Takeaway

This game wasn’t a loss — it was a statement.

The Spiders proved they can go blow-for-blow with the defending champions. They drew first blood. They battled at the plate. They ran the bases with no fear. They played with heart.

Yes, there’s work to do. The defense needs to tighten up. The little things need to be sharpened. But the foundation is here. The fight is here. The respect has been earned.

🕷️ This team is building something real. They’re not afraid of the champs. They’re not afraid of the moment. And they’ll be back — stronger, sharper, hungrier.

Because the truth is simple: the wins are coming.

---

💚🕷️ Fans, keep showing up. Keep getting loud. Keep believing. This is just the beginning of something special in Greer.
