Two events. One night at Eastside.

On Friday, September 11, we’re bringing our community together for Town Hall + Free Play Friday at the Eastside Timbers Sports Complex.

FREE PLAY FRIDAY | 5–7 PM
Free Play Friday is exactly what it sounds like; a chance for players ages 8–18 to get on the field and PLAY. Player-led, small-sided games give players the freedom to compete, create, meet new people and express themselves without coaches directing the game.
There is no cost to participate. Current Eastside players can simply show up ready to play. Non-Eastside players are welcome!

TOWN HALL | 4–7 PM
Town Hall is free and open to everyone! Come spend the evening with the Eastside community, connect with local vendors and club sponsors, and enjoy free soccer and activities with the family. There will be food carts!

TINY TIMBERS IS COMING TO SOUTHEAST PORTLAND!

Our Tiny Timbers program is expanding to a new location at Portland Christian Elementary School!

Designed for players ages 2–5, Tiny Timbers gives little players a chance to make friends, get touches on the ball, move their bodies and start learning the basics of soccer.

Across 6 Saturday sessions, players will work on ball control, agility, coordination and movement through games and activities made just for their age group. Plus, every week has a new theme, including animals, travel, superheroes and more!

OPF Academy | Winter Futsal Season 2026-27
Take your game indoors this winter.

OPF Academy is a 3-month futsal program for players born 2018–2007, U8 through High School.
All levels of futsal experience are welcome.

TRYOUTS
Friday, October 23 & 30
Oregon Premier Futsal

Players will train weekly on Fridays and compete in 8 weekend league games from November through January, all played at Oregon Premier Futsal.

PROGRAM INCLUDES
* Up to 10 Friday training sessions
* 8 league games
* Experienced coaching focused on technical ability, decision-making, speed of play and confidence
* $450 per player
* Eastside Timbers and non-club players welcome

TOPSoccer is back this fall!

Eastside Timbers TOPSoccer provides a welcoming, inclusive soccer experience for players of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Sessions are designed around each player’s individual needs and abilities, with 1:1 Buddies available for players who benefit from additional support.

Whether your player is new to soccer or has been playing for years, TOPSoccer is a place to learn, play, build confidence, and be part of the team.

A huge congratulations to our 17 Eastside Timbers players selected to the ECNL RL All-Regional League Team.

This recognition celebrates players who stood out throughout the season for their performance, consistency, and impact on the field.

We are proud to see players from both our boys and girls ECNL RL teams represented.

Congratulations to all 17 players on this well-earned honor. We are proud of you.

Last week was all about investing in the future of our players and coaches.

Our Technical Director, Carly Copplestone, led a Coach Education Evening focused on strengthening our club-wide philosophy and ensuring every competitive player receives a consistent, high-quality development experience.

Coaches collaborated on Key Player Qualities (KPQs), shared coaching language, and development strategies that will help all players continue to grow. Every competitive coach is evaluated throughout the season, and every player receives an Individual Development Plan (IDP) to support their individual journey.

We also launched our first College Advisory Program (CAP) evening!

Directors of Coaching Greg Pfleger and Jeff Castagnola met with players and families interested in playing collegiate soccer, covering topics such as academic requirements, the recruiting process, and how to begin preparing for opportunities beyond high school.

These initiatives are part of our commitment to developing not only better soccer players, but confident, prepared young people once they walk off the pitch.
