It was formed when 14 men, united by their love of golf, set out to build their own golf course from scratch. These 14 men were able to locate a prime piece of land, sell memberships to raise capital, and build the course and clubhouse. One of these 14 men was Jack Kidwell, a renowned golf course architect.
