Addison and her Mother went flying today as a gift. She loved it. I told her that many of the best pilots are women. So all you girls out there who want an education that no one can take away and resume that impresses everyone, come check it out. It takes patience and hard work but there is nothing more fun and impressive to your friends and family. You learn at your speed and cost is as fast or slow as you can afford. You can't get your license till you are sixteen but you can get a head start on Training
Did you know one of the first astronauts was a pilot and went to Washington DC to lobby for women as astronauts. The sky is limit for smart women who love adventure.
You were a lot of fun Addison. See you soon. Message here for more information.
Real Girls Fly.

Graham Powell soloed today. He flew by himself and it's a big hurdle on the journey to getting your license.

Most people don't know the story behind cutting the shirt tail when you solo. Let me try to explain;
In older planes, the seating was not side by side but tandem. The instructor sat behind the student and since there were no headsets, communication was made by tugging on the shirt tail of the student.
The ritual of cutting the shirt tail was to signify that the student no longer needed the shirt tail to make major choices. And so.......
Graham's shirt tail was cut today!

My Father always told me that flying was for men and not women. He took me for my first ride when I was 6. When I married Tom, first thing he did was tell me about the special societies that were for women aviators. In fact, started by Amelia Earhart. What I learned was that there was nothing more freeing than learning that flying was for anyone who had the desire to just accomplish breaking away and living that dream of flying above my problems. Better than meditation and it has a great impact on your resume. Call for just a talk. Pay as you go and no debt or credit checks. Just desire. Nothing to hold you back now ladies and men who were just dreaming. Albertville airport will work with you on costs. Do t let anything stop you. Accomplish anything!
