The 40th Annual Barrel Futurities of America (BFA) World Championships are scheduled for November 17–22, 2025, at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

🐎 Event Overview
This prestigious event showcases top-tier barrel racing talent, featuring competitions for 4- and 5-year-old futurity horses, juvenile riders, and derby contenders. The BFA World Championships are a highlight in the barrel racing calendar, attracting participants and spectators from across the country.

📅 Key Dates & Schedule Highlights

November 15–16: Move-in begins at 8 AM, with ride-around sessions and early check-ins.
November 17–18: Junior races, Open 4D events, and final check-ins.
November 19: Juvenile exhibitions and the first go of the Derby.
November 20: First go rounds for 4- and 5-year-old Futurity classes, followed by the $uper $takes event.
November 21: First go of the Juvenile class, BFA Horse Sale demonstrations, and the second go of the Derby.
November 22: Second go rounds for 4- and 5-year-old Futurity classes, Future Fortunes Social Hour, and the BFA Sale.
November 23: Second go of the Juvenile class, Future Fortunes Awards, and Finals for various categories.

Participants must complete check-in by November 18. All necessary forms, including membership applications and entry forms for different classes, are available on the BFA website and the BFA App. Notably, nominations for 4- and 5-year-old horses were extended to February 15, 2025, with late fees applicable after February 20, 2025.

Barrel Futurities of America enjoyed a successful 38th BFA World Championship hosted at the fabulous Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, November 116-23, 2024, paying out over 1.5 MILLION in cash and prizes, with 1,047 entries competing during the week. The BFA World Championship also hosted the XN Ranch Junior Race and Adequan Open 4-D with 471 entries!
