State Champs! South Grads shine in Funkstown’s thrilling 2-1 victory over Ft Cumberland in the Legion Baseball State Finals.

Shawn Higgins fired 6 2/3 innings allowing just 1 run. Derek Kline delivered, what would prove to be the game winning RBI, with a clutch single late in the game. Congrats fellas as you continue to represent yourselves and South High Baseball at a very high level. 💚💚

Incoming Freshman Jayden Wiles earned the win yesterday for the 14U Pony All-Stars in route to an eventual Region Championship!! The lefty gave up two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out six and walking two. Good luck at the Zones!
