The final battle for this group of wonderful young ladies.pt 1

I can not say enough about how tough this group of girls are.
They went into today at the Eastern National Championship sitting in 5th place.
They dropped the first game pretty bad 10-0.
Battled all day and losing the 5th game of the day down to the last out 3-2.
They finished 4th out of 30 teams. And went 7-2 for the week.
When this team started last Aug we knew it was going to be a long road.
They finished the season 38-17. 2 tournament championships, 2 runner ups and and 4 at our final National tournament. Most of this team is going seperate ways next year but we will always be family.
Very proud to have coached every one of these girls.

Wish these girls luck. They are undefeated 2 days into the Eastern National Championship. Back at it at 8 am tomorrow.

Girls competed this weekend in a shortened Beast Of The East Tournament in Hagerstown.
Today they went 4-0 only allowing 3 runs all day, and winning the Championship. It is amazing to step back and think of how far this team has come this year.
Up next our last battle at the Eastern Nationals Championship July 8-12.

Mother nature got us today.
We will be back at it tomorrow morning 9:30 agaist Swarm. Hagerstown Fairground Park Field 4.
1 pool game then double elimination bracket games.
We are ready for a long day tomorrow.
