The Honeypass Couples Ultimate Frisbee Tournament

A lot of people have been asking about a Honeypass this year. It's definitely not happening next month (mostly because of field space / costs), there's a small chance of doing something in the summer when field spaces are cheaper. But we'll see.

Sorry gang, it doesn't look like the Honeypass will be happening this year either. The current venue options are not great on top of being expensive, and the logistics of making it work would be immense for what would be a tournament for the sake of having a tournament instead of putting on an awesome tourney worthy of the time and effort required.

People have been asking for updates- I've been looking into a possible venue for a Honeypass tournament in February 2022. It's mostly a matter of price and logistics at this point. If it happens, the most likely date will be Sunday, February 20.

Just to keep people who have been checking in on the status of this year's tournament. Unfortunately, COVID has taken an awful toll on the Sportsplex where we held the tournament last year and they shut down, leaving the tourney without a home. I'm still looking into options for doing something in the summer.

What a year! At least the pandemic can't stop you from practicing ultimate strategies with your SO, right? For an update - the 2021 Honeypass Tournament will not be taking place on Valentine's Day weekend. Things are still too uncertain with COVID. We're looking into a little later in the year, perhaps the weekend of April 23 (aka "Lover's Day"). Let's cross our fingers and hope for good news to come with the vaccine distribution! When the tourney happens, the only things we want around us in the air are love and frisbees.
