These girls had themselves a weekend!
Their energy was contagious, their determination was unmatched, and it showed every time they stepped onto the field. The Hurricanes never backed down, battling through every game and finding ways to pull of big wins in several nail-biters against strong opponents.
Along the way, they learned valuable lessons both on and off the field. One of the toughest lessons in sports is that some outcomes are simply beyond your control. What is always within your control, however, is how you respond.
Despite the disappointing way the weekend came to an end, these Hurricanes didn't let it define them. They shook it off, put their heads down, and got right back to work Monday night.
With their resilience, grit, and never-quit attitude, there's no limit to what this team can accomplish.

🥎 200 Strikeouts for #25, Eliana Sylvester!
Eliana recorded 85 strikeouts over 35 innings during our fall season after beginning her pitching journey just a few months earlier in the summer. Throughout the fall, she worked tirelessly on her mental toughness and confidence in the circle. Over the winter, and every week since, she has continued to refine her mechanics, improve her pitch location, and expand her arsenal. Eliana has a deep toolbox in the circle, and she knows how to use it.
On Saturday against Newtown Rock, Eliana was dominant on the mound, allowing 0 earned runs. Unbeknownst to her and many others, she quietly surpassed 200 strikeouts on the year during the game.
Ellie, we see an incredibly bright future ahead of you. We are so proud of all the hard work you've put in and grateful to be part of your journey. Congratulations on this amazing milestone—we can't wait to see what comes next! 🥎💙♥️ #25
