The South Shore Adult Baseball League, based in Northwest Indiana, offers opportunities for players aged 20 and over.
With two divisions tailored to those aged 20+ and 38+, our league is entering its 21st season in 2024 as a staple of adult baseball in the Region. Founded by Steve Carpenter as NWI NABA, our league has flourished over the past 21 years, evolving into one of the most competitive leagues in Northwest Indiana, all driven by a love for the game and a commitment to fostering a welcoming environment for all players.

The Southshore Adult Baseball League (SSABL) is a proud affiliate of the National Adult Baseball Association, offering competitive play for all skill levels. Whether you’re looking to stay sharp or get back into the game, we have a spot for you.
We are currently fielding teams for two divisions:
18+ Division & 38+ Division

Congratulations to A’s lead by Head Coach Sam Romeo on winning the 2025 SSABL 18+ over championship!
Congratulations to the SSABL 18+ A’s on advance to the finals to face off against the SSABL 18+ Diamondbacks.
Game 1 is scheduled for 10/11 at Lansing Old timers with first pitch at 3pm.
Game 2 will be on 10/12 at 9am @ Block Stadium in East Chicago
Game 3 if needed to follow game two.

Congratulations to the SSABL 38+ Yankees on winning the 2025 Steve Carpenter Division Championship!
SSABL 18+ loser bracket final! Winner heads to the Championship against the Diamondbacks led by Steve Schmidt.
The A’s will take on the Reds Sunday 3pm at Block Stadium in East Chicago!
