Join us for our Lunch & Learn event on Wednesday, June 24 from 12-1:30pm! From nutrition to exercise, our seminar will provide useful information for healthy living. This session will be led by Humana and focus on Stroke Prevention & the Aging Brain. We encourage all Active Older Adults to take advantage of this wonderful event and come connect with your community!

This past Saturday, the Hammond Family YMCA participated at the Hammond Indiana Police Department Open House! It was a great opportunity to connect with the community and share all that the YMCA has to offer.

We also had the chance to connect with other community partners, including Ben's Blue Bags. They generously donated a Blue Bag to our Hammond YMCA Summer Camp to help support individuals on the autism spectrum. The bag includes sensory toys, a picture communication board, and noise-canceling headphones to help create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all.

Does your child have a love for sports? 😁 Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in our Discovery Youth Sports Leagues! With options for all skill levels, your child is sure to have a memorable experience in our leagues while creating lifelong friendships and building upon their athletic ability. This session, we are offering Basketball, Flag Football and Volleyball. 🏀🏈🏐

Congratulations to our May Self-Care Bingo winner, Jamaica! 🎉

Our member, Jamaica loved taking part in the challenge and made it a goal to complete an activity every day. As the winner, she received one month of Small Group Training to help take both her physical and mental well-being to the next level. 💪🧠

Join the Hobart Family YMCA of Crossroads YMCA Association for a Deep River Waterpark Family Night on Saturday, July 25! Enjoy a splashing good time with various water attractions and activities! This is an event to support our income-based scholarship program. 🌊🤽

• Early entry is allowed at 4:00pm, rides shut down at 5:00pm to clear park and reopen at 5:30pm for the event which goes until 8:00pm.
• To maximize your time at the park, we highly recommend picking up your tickets at the Hobart Family YMCA before the start of our event. Will call will be available if needed.

Get ready for a season full of volleyball, teamwork, and fun! Our Volleyball Summer Recreational Youth Sports League at the YMCA Sportscenter at Crown Point gives kids ages 9–17 the opportunity to stay active, learn new skills, build confidence, and make lasting friendships in a positive and encouraging environment. Whether they’re new to the game or already love volleyball, this league is a great way to grow on and off the court! 💙
