We will be at Hagerstown Quarter Midget Association- HQMA for the Monster dash Triple Feature day on Saturday and the Witches Brew final race on Sunday. If you haven’t made it out to watch Chase this year this may be your last chance until next spring.

We finally got out to Susquehanna Quarter Midget Association for the Barnyard Bash Twin Twenties feature day. It was our first time at the new track so we had some learning to do.
Our goal for the day was to learn a new track and get out of our comfort zone and see if we can make the adjustments to car and driver. Out of the six features Chase did manage to get a third place in the first of the Jr Animal races and led some laps in the second 160 race.
Chase looked good throughout the day but the finishes didn’t reflect the effort. Chase had a few spins and some start violations ( Chase later told me that he struggled to see the line at the flag stand ) that put us out of contention for more podiums. We will definitely be making more trips to this track next year.

With small car counts again it was a fast paced day. Jr Honda 7 cars , 160 5 cars and Animal 4 cars. The focus was on the 160 car as we have been struggling with getting the handling sorted in this car. We started over with a baseline setup and were able to get it adjusted in time for the heat race after practice and time trials. Chase was able to come from P5 after a rough start in the feature and get up to second place with the leader right in front of him.
In Jr Animal Chase started from the pole position and never looked back. He took an early gap to the other cars and with each lap he pulled further away from them catching up to the group with 7 or so laps to go. It looked like he was in fourth place as all 4 cars were grouped together but the checkered flag was his.
